Dermal filler treatment
Dermal fillers are a gel-like substance mainly made up of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is naturally formed in our skin - it attracts water which improves hydration and increases the volume and plumpness of the skin. As we age, our skin loses its firm, soft appearance due to the loss of hydration and the breakdown of collagen and elastin which causes sagging, wrinkles and folds. Dermal fillers are injected into the skin to contour, soften and fill fine lines, wrinkles and folds, helping to revitalise the skin. We can also use dermal fillers to add volume and re-define facial structures.
Anti-wrinkle softening
Facial line softening treatments are used to treat wrinkles and fine lines by using Botulinum toxin A. As we age the production of collagen and elastin is reduced which speeds up the ageing process leaving us with creased skin in the areas we use our facial muscles the most.

Botulinum toxin is injected into the muscles to relax them, by relaxing these muscles it stops them from contracting and therefore stops the skin from creasing into folds and wrinkles allowing the lines to soften or even fade away. This also makes the face and neck look more refreshed, less tired and more youthful.
